Black Radical Reader I

In part one of this collection, Prince Shakur explores the labyrinth of Black masculinity, guided by the spirits of luminaries like Huey P. Newton and Bob Marley, his own sociopolitical comings of age, and questions of radical possibilities for what manhood and liberation can mean. In part two, he draws vital connections between Black and Palestinian liberation. These essays illuminate the profound impact of gendered realities on the tapestry of Black culture, life, and resistance through a queer and radical lens; and why Blackness is aligned with so many freedom struggles, including the Palestinian liberation struggle.
