Dated a bit by Covid but still a good guide

4 stars

Categorised by neighbourhood, A Booklover's Guide will still help you find loads of bookshops - just check the internet before you go. Even as of spring 2022, most of the shops from this pre-Covid book were still there. I bought this at the New-York Historical Society shop and spent the next two trips following in its footsteps.

It's not just for shops - it also takes you into the Public Library and places that have famous literary mentions.
