Great setup and wonderful characters, but the ending leaves a few too many open questions

Definitely a book I would recommend. I loved the fast pace of the book and the Alice in Wonderland references are a lot of fun. I did find it hard, however, how much the world of the book resembles ours; the book is very light on explanations in that sense.

For me this book definitely had its ups and downs, but the story is most intriguing and the characters lively. The story really has a fresh feeling to it. The downside of the book are that the writing style sometimes didn't really seem to flow, which made me have to reread part quite a lot to grasp their meaning, and some of the jumps between characters that really slowed down the story, neither of which are deal breaking in my book. I would recommend giving this book a read.
