Menewood

The author writes so very vividly about life 1350 years ago in Great Britain. One of these books I wanted to read as fast as possible, but that I didn’t want to actually finish, you know?

Parts of this were overwhelming (mostly grief), parts of it dull (so much battle strategy). I adored Hild, I'm happy to see more of her, and I didn't thrill to this as much as I wanted.
