Churchill a Life V03 (12)

I've read a few biographies on Churchill but this one has been the most interesting and comprehensive. It covered all his health challenges including surviving numerous strokes, his childhood which by today's standards seems he was rather shunned by his parents, his bravery on more than one battlefield, his titanic political struggles in the face of overwhelming odds, and his real affection for his wife. This was a man who had a major influence over world affairs in the 20th century within the UK as well as everywhere else, and the two month read was well worth it.
