Okay so I spent the past 2.5 hours reading the last 75% of Bright We Burn, the final volume in a trilogy based on a what-if Vlad-the-Impaler was... Lady Dracul instead.
I absolutely recommend going to the Suikoden II soundtrack, and making a playlist consisting of three songs: "The Chase", "Mad Luka" and "The Evil One" and just play that on repeat for the duration of your read. Yes that is like a 10 minute playlist but it is the RIGHT one.
I see a lot in common with Lada Dracul and Luka Blight
Seriously though if you can stand something a bit gory and dark, read it. It has a queer family I stan.
