Tense and slow to unravel, "Foe" keeps the reader on edge and guessing. This work supplied deep and emotional commentary on the messy dynamics of close relationships and what constitutes individuality. I was thrown for a loop throughout - this is one of those reads that once you finish it, you simply MUST retrace your steps.
