The conceit is that we get each daughter ‘s point of view, and they are adorably interested in very different things (the story moves forward with everypoint of view shift, it’s not a five way retelling)

I kind of like the breathless, one thing leads to another , style. But it is an uncomfortable book, about being made uncomfortable, so I’m not actually having a good time.
