It’s…. Comically bad with no likable characters yet. Apparently it’s from the 80s and it shows what a long way we’ve come in the trope expectations. It is Not that predictable so i am crawling along a chapter at a time.

Content warning Vague spoilers/ much complaining
The world building was real good! I like the cultures of the different planets, the notion of shareholders sending out people to get their value, the skins, etc etc
I hate all the characters, but most especially Lawrence. Simon was a horrible set of men, but at least they were interesting.
Some of the tech is too magical - Prime mainly. It lets the plot do things for dumb reasons.
I was going to give it 3 stars “ain’t mad i read it” then i read the ending.
What a stupid and ridiculous way to use time travel for a dumbfuck reason that probably hinges on lying for the rest of his life to the person he loves the most.
