I don’t know how but this book was so impactful to me, probably more than the original

I went into this book being a bit negative about climate change and the climate movement worldwide. I thought we “lost” and wouldn’t be able prevent enormous damage to the planet. I saw myself in a situation similar to the ending of the movie “Don’t look up” but I don’t think of that anymore.

The book gives you a decent amount of history of the different climate movements (pacifist and not so pacifist) and compales them to other social movements and the type of violence or lack there of that they used in order to achieve their goals.

I really recommend this book a lot!

The book is so packed of action, emotion, mysticism and lots of character development. Loved it. Coming from reading most of the Foundation series, I wasn’t sure if I me being a fanboy, Iwas going to like it another big Sci-Fi saga but I did. Can’t wait to read the next books!

I found the first story a bit slow, it took a bit of time to explain the rules so I wasn’t too sure I’d like it. Everything changed (to me) from the second story onwards.

The book deals mith such complex topics in an incredibly well written story. I read the first part of the 1831 version and then switched to the 1818 version (I read all three parts) and both versions are intriguing. It’s going to be in my Spooky Season list!
