This is a nice attempt, yet a failure, at a Swedish detective story. Blocky anecdotes are paired with simple visual storytelling through a paper-thin plot.
Reviews and Comments
Favourite book genres: biography, music, philosophy, dissent; anything kick-providing, really. I review books, which means that I am—via Kurt Vonnegut—rococo argle-bargle. https://niklas.reviews

Lovely but parent-wrangled

Reading Amy Winehouse's muaic and words, even in interviews, is a wondrous and intelligent journey.
This posthumous book drags us through a tale that's made by Amy's parents, whose intents are most likely well-intended and entirely their thing.
Amy's lyrics and interviews provide deeper insight into her life, even though it's lovely to see her thoughts and drawings spilled out from an early age until just after her album 'Frank'.
