I rarely read short stories but when I do, I usually love them. This is no exception, the short stories are creative and inspiring, and motivate me to find small ways to work towards a better future in my own life. I very much enjoyed reading them and the little commentaries in between, and the format makes it easy to read them in between, for example while taking a short break.

Found it on my library’s overdrive/libby app! I read the first story, Slimy Things Did Crawl, and enjoyed it very much. I found out there’s also a podcast and newsletter both called bright green futures about climate fiction and utopia, and am very curious to listen/read more about it

Surprisingly good, I was sceptical at the beginning but it is very informative and thorough, I also found it inspiring. Some parts are very dark though, but I guess that is to be expected if you learn about the history of autism and in some ways also of psychiatric research

Radikale Zärtlichkeit ist tatsächlich das was es verspricht, radikal und zärtlich. Es inspiriert mich, meine Beziehungen zu hinterfragen, und hoffentlich besser und zärtlicher zu gestalten, und gibt mir Worte dafür, wie sich umeinander kümmern Widerstand gegen Kapitalismus und Patriarchat ist.

It's the second time I am reading this book, and already after the first few pages I remember why I love this book so much. It has tons of great advice and I feel like everyone should read it.

Ich habe es leider nicht geschafft, das Buch vor dem Auslaufen der Leihfrist fertig zu lesen. Wirklich toller Stil und ich wurde sehr reingezogen, teilweise sehr schwere Themen, vor allem CW Kindesmissbrauch, sexueller Kindesmissbrauch

As always, reading Becky Chambers is a delight. The book is just so short!

I started reading this book a few days ago and can't stop. Great fiction reimagining ancient Greek mythology, with a feminist touch.

I started reading this book due to my therapist's recommendation. So far it's really pretty good, the language is simple and they take people with ADHD seriously and don't infantilize us.

Started listening to the audiobook, I love that it's read by the author!

Sehr atmosphärisch und unterhaltsam, aber es war etwas zu abstrakt für mich. Die Story fehlt ein bisschen, und die systemkritik kommt bei mir auch nicht so ganz an. Abgesehen davon ist es ein schönes Buch und malt tolle (oft leicht gruselige oder dunkle) Bilder in den Kopf.
